Ingredients
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (halved horizontally)
1 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup honey
2 tbsp soy sauce (low sodium)
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional garnish: red pepper flakes or chopped parsley
Instructions
Slice chicken breasts in half horizontally and season with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
Stir in honey, soy sauce, and vinegar. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
Return chicken to pan and coat in the sauce. Simmer another 1–2 minutes until sticky and glazed.
Garnish and serve hot.
Notes
Cutting chicken into thinner cutlets helps it cook evenly and stay juicy. Don’t let the garlic burn—add it after removing the chicken from the skillet. The sauce will thicken as it cools, creating a perfect glaze.
